Bikini Beach World, swimwear made in Australia with Italian fabrics, is a very new startup company and thus, a recent entry to the swimwear marketplace. Based in Byron Bay, the company designs and distributes micro, Brazilian, resort and g-string bikinis. Their signature collection is the Byron Bikini named after the company location.
The company begins a design by creating the pattern, making a sample product, and then trying the bikini on various models to find the right fit and comfort. The selection is limited but one would expect this in the first year of operation. The line is not short on colours, however, offering white, black, aqua, rio, jade, sunshine, electric blue, hot pink, venetian red, and mocha. Sets may be purchased and the shopper has the opportunity to buy a different size bottom from the top. For example, one set might consist of a small top and large bottom. Sizes come in small, medium and large. Separates may also be purchased with four different choices of bottoms and only one design for the triangle top.
